I was always self-taught. From a very young age, 6 or 7 years old, I composed songs. I spent hours listening to good music thanks to my brothers. I remember that my uncle was a DJ when he was young and heard when he did his practice sessions. I loved that because of the variety of music I was listening at that time.
I loved bass and guitar. As a teenager, I started playing guitar and composing a little more formally. When I graduated high school, I met some friends who encouraged me to play bass, and we formed our first rock band. From there I formalized my music studies in parallel with the university when I entered the music conservatory. From there I went through several jazz groups and recording studios.
One of my biggest challenges was writing the lyrics of an entire album by an artist friend. It was a list of 10 songs that ran inside the favorites of the local radio in the Dominican Republic, the country where I was born. I have always kept composing and producing. Lately, I've been playing with a rock band and Blues in the Atlanta area. If you want to know more, contact me.
